What to expect

The City-managed district brings together St. Lawrence Hall, the North Market and the South Market, plus Market Lane Park and the pedestrian way around it. The South Market is home to specialty food and non-food vendors; the North Market hosts the Saturday Farmers’ Market in its new permanent building, which opened in 2025. Treat this as a browse-and-walk visit: the buildings have different days and hours, and buying from vendors is optional.
