What is saved in your browser

If you add places to your plan, this browser saves their IDs in local storage so they are still there when you return. The list is not sent to a FreeDay Finder account or server. On some place pages, the date selector compares your chosen date with the published regular hours in your browser; that date is not saved or sent to FreeDay Finder.

Location, maps and directions

The map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap. Those requests may include your IP address, the page you came from and the map area you view. We ask for your location only if you choose “Use my location.” If you allow it, the coordinates stay in page memory while the map is open. FreeDay Finder does not store or send them to its own server, and distances are calculated in your browser.

If you open Google Maps directions while location is active, the origin, destination and travel mode are included in the link. Google handles that request under its own privacy terms. You can clear your location or leave the page at any time.

What the site does not do

The site does not use accounts, advertising, analytics or third-party AI requests. The share button opens your device’s sharing options when available; it sends the itinerary only if you choose an app or recipient. Otherwise, the site copies the link. Official source links open external sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Sending a correction

If you choose the correction link on an outing page, it opens your own email app with a draft. If you send it, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards the message to the site's operator's private inbox. The website itself does not store the message. The operator receives your sender address and the details you include so they can review the listing and reply. The private forwarding address is not published on the site.

When the site changes

If advertising or analytics are added, this notice will be updated to explain what data is collected and how to manage it.
