What to expect

Silo Park keeps its industrial landmarks in view: the old cement silos, the gantry and the working marinas give this stretch of waterfront a different feel from the central shopping streets. Follow the public-art trail through the wider quarter, then pause on the lawn for harbour and skyline views.

The public park and waterfront walk are free. Food, parking, boat trips, Silo 6 exhibitions and some events may cost extra.

Visitor notes

AucklandNZ lists Silo Park as open 24 hours; event setups and individual exhibitions can still affect access to parts of the site. The park is at Beaumont and Jellicoe Streets, an easy walk from downtown. Jellicoe Street car park currently gives the first hour free once per day; check its current rates before driving.
