Vistula Boulevards at Kraków
Walk the riverside below Wawel past the Dragon statue, bridges and open Vistula views.
What to expect
The Vistula Boulevards run along both banks of the river and were built between 1907 and 1913 as part of the city's flood-control works. The embankments now serve as a popular place to walk, cycle and stop for the view: the busy Czerwieński stretch below Wawel has the Dragon and Dżok dog statues, while the opposite bank looks toward Kazimierz and Podgórze. Treat it as a choose-your-length riverside route rather than one enclosed attraction.
