What to expect
Ocean Front Walk is the promenade running beside Venice Beach. Los Angeles County groups it with Muscle Beach, tennis courts, the skate-dancing plaza, volleyball courts, the bike trail and the beach itself. The route is known for artists, vendors and street performers, but individual stands and rentals are businesses; you can walk the public promenade without buying anything.
