What to expect

Thean Hou Temple is a six-tiered Hainanese temple on Robson Hill, dedicated to the sea goddess Mazu and associated deities. Its red columns, carved rooflines and lanterns frame terraces overlooking Kuala Lumpur. Leave room for worshippers, keep voices low in prayer areas and avoid photographing people without permission.
