What to expect

Superkilen is a 30,000-square-metre public space on outer Nørrebro, designed by Superflex with BIG and Topotek1. Its three zones have different uses: Red Square for urban activity and events, Black Market as a neighbourhood meeting place, and the greener section for picnics, sports and dog walks. Look for objects selected with local residents, including a Moroccan fountain and swings from Iraq. This is a lived-in neighbourhood park, so share cycle routes and give nearby homes some quiet.
