Saxon Garden
A central garden with a fountain, Baroque sculptures and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at its edge.
What to expect
Saxon Garden opened to the public in 1727 as Poland's first public park. Its formal avenue leads past flower beds, sculptures and a 19th-century fountain toward the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier beneath the surviving arcades of Saxon Palace. It is a convenient green pause between the Royal Route and central Warsaw, and can be visited on its own or paired with nearby Piłsudski Square.
