What to expect

Parco delle Rimembranze, also called Sant’Elena Pinewood, is a green public-space outing at the far eastern end of Venice. The city visitor guide describes it as one of the island’s green retreats; the park’s waterfront setting and tree cover offer a different pace from the dense historic centre. It is a separate municipal park, not an entrance to the Biennale exhibition grounds or pavilions, which may be ticketed. Check seasonal gate hours and the Sant’Elena water-bus service before making the trip.
