Puerto Madero waterfront
Follow the old dock past red-brick warehouses and glass towers to the tango-inspired Puente de la Mujer footbridge.
What to expect
Puerto Madero's docks pair the red-brick warehouses of the regenerated port with newer glass towers, restaurants and a waterside pedestrian route. Puente de la Mujer, designed by Santiago Calatrava, is a rotating footbridge whose form suggests a couple dancing tango; it swings open when vessels need to pass. Continue south toward the entrance to Costanera Sur if you want to trade the city waterfront for a longer nature walk.
