Walk the lawns and overlooks above the Presidio tunnels, with a nature playground and Golden Gate Bridge views.

What to expect

Entry and costs

The outdoor park, lawns and viewpoints are free. Food, paid parking, reserved picnic tables or grills and special events may cost extra.

Visitor notes

The Presidio Trust says Tunnel Tops is free and open every day, but the Visitor Center, Outpost playground and Field Station have their own hours. Main Post construction through winter 2027 may bring detours, noise and extra traffic. Walk bikes, skateboards and scooters through Tunnel Tops.
