Planty Park

What to expect

Planty is a 20.51-hectare park wrapped around Kraków's historic centre, set where the old defensive walls and moat once stood. The city divides the roughly four-kilometre loop into eight named gardens, including Barbakan, Florianka, Uniwersytet and Wawel. Benches, fountains, memorials and two playgrounds make it a useful short green break between the Main Square, the station side of Old Town and the route to Wawel.
