What to expect

Piazza Gae Aulenti is an elevated circular public square at the centre of the Porta Nuova development. The roughly 80-metre-wide plaza sits about 10 metres above street level, with three fountains, a long curved bench and views toward the surrounding towers. Entry to the public plaza is free; shops, restaurants, exhibitions and private observation venues charge separately.
