A monumental public square framed by the Royal Palace and basilica colonnade.

What to expect

Piazza del Plebiscito opens between the Royal Palace and the semicircular colonnade of the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola. The equestrian statues of Charles III and Ferdinand I stand in the square, which also works as a useful point between Via Toledo, the theatre district and the waterfront. The basilica, palace and nearby museums have their own visitor rules and hours.
