What to expect

Start near Plaça de Catalunya and walk north along the Eixample’s main avenue. Around the block at numbers 41–43, Casa Amatller and Casa Batlló stand side by side; further uphill, Gaudí’s Casa Milà (La Pedrera) takes up the corner at number 92. The exteriors can be seen from the public pavement, while building visits and rooftops are separate ticketed attractions.
