Parque de María Luisa
Link Plaza de España with shaded avenues, fountains and the park's quieter garden corners.
What to expect
María Luisa Park began as the gardens of the Palace of San Telmo and was donated to Seville in 1893. Landscape architect Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier reshaped it before the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition; today its tree-lined paths, fountains, roundabouts and small pavilions connect Plaza de España with Plaza de América. It is a substantial park, so allow more time than a quick plaza stop and expect some paths to be in full sun.
