What to expect

The northern lagoon is the main wildlife stop, with black-necked swans, coots, herons and other birds. The municipality also documents an outdoor sculpture collection, children’s play areas and walking paths; the photo here shows one of the park’s sculptures rather than the whole landscape.

The municipal park is a free public space. Food at the park’s cafés and restaurant, parking and separately organised events may cost extra.

Visitor notes

Vitacura lists ramped entrances at O’Brien, Espoz, Alonso de Córdova and Pérez Zujovic, with toilets at some entrances. That confirms accessible entry points, not a step-free route across every path.
