Walk the 38.6-hectare park between Sforza Castle and Arco della Pace.

What to expect

Parco Sempione runs northwest from Sforza Castle to Arco della Pace. Its 38.6-hectare English-style grounds include tree-lined paths, a pond, bridges, lawns and civic buildings; the city also marks fitness and children's play facilities. The park is free. Museums, the aquarium, Torre Branca and organised events have separate admission or charges.

Visitor notes

The City of Milan lists park gates as 06:00–22:00 from October through March and 06:00–midnight from April through September. Use posted notices for temporary closures, events and facility hours; park paths and lawns do not have one uniform step-free route.
