What to expect

Bosques de Palermo is the local name for Parque Tres de Febrero, a 370-hectare green corridor between Avenida del Libertador and Avenida Leopoldo Lugones. Four lakes, tree-lined paths and 29 plazas make the area far larger than one quick garden stop; choose a section around the lake or plaza nearest you rather than trying to cover it all. El Rosedal is a separate, gated garden inside this wider park landscape and has its own opening schedule.

Entry and costs

Most of Parque Tres de Febrero's plazas, walks and public lawns are free. The golf course, Japanese Garden, museums, Planetarium, boat hire and some concessions have separate entry or fees.

This is an extensive district, not one compact garden. Choose a specific lake or entrance, allow time for the walk, and check separate attraction hours before making them part of the route. Paths are exposed to sun and rain.
