What to expect

Osaka Castle Park covers 105.6 hectares around the castle’s moats and historic structures. Its plum grove, cherry trees and broad paths make it a substantial outdoor walk. The castle museum and Nishinomaru Garden are separately managed visits, so check their schedules and prices if you want to go inside.

The park grounds are free. As checked on 2 November 2026, the castle museum lists ¥1,200 adult admission and Nishinomaru Garden ¥300 for adults; confirm the current fee before visiting.

Visitor notes

The park is always open, but facilities have their own hours and closures. The museum lists 09:00–18:00, last entry 17:30, and closure from 28 December to 1 January. Events may alter access to individual areas.
