Nakanoshima Park
A free river-island park with rose beds, bridges and landmark civic buildings.
What to expect
Opened in 1891, Nakanoshima Park stretches about 1.5 kilometres between the Dojima and Tosabori rivers. The eastern rose garden sits near Osaka City Central Public Hall and Nakanoshima Library, making a compact visit easy to combine with a riverside walk. The roses usually peak around mid-May and mid-October, but flowering varies by year.
