What to expect

Monteliusvägen is a roughly 500-metre path along the northern edge of Södermalm. Its benches and openings look across Riddarfjärden toward Stockholm City Hall, Riddarholmen and Gamla Stan. The city's park plan describes gravel, walls, steps and sections of wooden decking, so this is a scenic walk with uneven surfaces rather than a smooth waterfront promenade.
