Mission Bay waterfront
Take an easy foreshore walk on Tāmaki Drive, with pōhutukawa shade and Rangitoto across the water.
What to expect
Mission Bay works well as a short coastal pause or a longer walk along the Tāmaki Drive promenade. From the beach, Rangitoto sits across the harbour; cafés and the Selwyn Reserve waterfront are close by, but a swim needs a separate check of the day's water and beach conditions.
