Menara Gardens
Walk past Menara’s large irrigation basin and olive grove toward the tiled pavilion, with the Atlas as a distant backdrop.
What to expect
Menara is one of the historic gardens in Marrakech’s UNESCO-listed cultural landscape. Its basin and olive grove make the visit more about the water system and long views than flower beds; the pavilion sits beside the water. The free-entry boundary is currently unclear: the regional tourism office’s listing posts ‘70 DH Adult’ and ‘Public price 10 DH’ without explaining which area or visitor group each applies to, while another current visitor guide says the grounds are free and the pavilion charges. We’re flagging the discrepancy rather than promising a free visit.
