Masjid Jamek and River of Life viewpoint
A free riverside heritage walk; mosque entry has separate visitor rules.
What to expect
Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad stands at the meeting of the Klang and Gombak rivers, close to the site traditionally associated with Kuala Lumpur’s early settlement. The outdoor River of Life route passes the mosque and the historic civic quarter; after dark, DBKL describes the Blue Pool lighting as a prominent feature. The mosque is an active place of worship, while the riverwalk is a separate public-space visit.
