Walk the clifftop parks above the Pacific, passing gardens, sports areas and broad views across Lima Bay.

What to expect

The Malecón links a chain of parks along the Miraflores cliffs rather than a single enclosed attraction. Peru Travel lists its public promenade as free and describes walking, cycling and other outdoor activities; municipal information identifies gardens, sports courts and exercise stations along the Cisneros section. The coast sits below the cliffs, so reaching a beach is a separate, lower-level route.

Peru Travel lists free entry to the public Malecón. Bike hire, paragliding, food and other services cost extra; beach access and facilities are separate.

Visitor notes

The municipality describes stairways and wheelchair ramps on the Cisneros section; that does not establish step-free access along the whole Malecón. Keep to signed paths and overlooks near the cliff edge. Fog, wind, works or local notices may affect a coastal visit.
