What to expect

Maboneng is a neighbourhood rather than a single attraction or ticketed art trail. Joburg Tourism describes a mix of contemporary galleries, boutique retail, restaurants and entertainment venues in the downtown precinct. A street-level visit can be as simple as following the active blocks around Fox and Kruger streets, with time to stop at a venue that is open; each business keeps its own programme and hours.
