Jeevanjee Gardens
Pause beneath mature trees in a five-acre CBD garden donated to Nairobi by Alibhai Mulla Jeevanjee in 1906.
What to expect
Jeevanjee Gardens is a small public green space at the north end of Nairobi’s CBD, with benches and sculptures among the planted paths. A JICA city-planning report records the five-acre park’s 1906 donation and its role as a recreation space for people in the centre. The Nairobi County tracker, updated 16 October 2026, lists a garden revitalization project as delayed and 52% complete; it does not say whether work currently affects the paths or gates.
