What to expect
Gülhane was once part of Topkapı Palace’s outer garden and opened as a public park in 1912. Its tree-lined paths, flower beds and lawns make an easy pause after Sultanahmet; the Column of the Goths stands near the Sarayburnu end, where the park meets the tip of the peninsula.
