Fitzroy Gardens
Walk Fitzroy Gardens' elm avenues, Conservatory and historic garden features.
What to expect
The heritage-listed garden was set aside as a reserve in 1848 and laid out in its present Victorian-era design in 1859. The City of Melbourne's 15-stop walk links the Conservatory, the Fairies' Tree, the Model Tudor Village and other features, so visitors can choose a short loop or linger longer. The public paths are free; Cooks' Cottage is a separate ticketed visit.
