A public riverside stop beside Parliament, with tram lines, memorials and a direct view across the Danube.
What to expect
Kossuth Lajos Square is the public plaza in front of Hungary’s Parliament, beside the river. Use it as a short northern riverfront stop for the Parliament façade and Danube view; Budapest’s better-known Danube Promenade viewpoint walk lies farther south, between Chain Bridge and Elisabeth Bridge. Parliament interiors are a separate paid visit and use their own visitor entrance and security arrangements.
