What to expect

Cours Saleya is a market square in the heart of Vieux Nice, bordered by cafés and colourful façades. The tourist office lists flowers, fruit, vegetables, local crafts and regional produce on the regular market days; on Mondays, the flower market gives way to an antiques and second-hand market. A summer evening crafts market is a separate seasonal event.

Entry to the public street and markets is free to browse. Goods, food and café purchases are not free, and individual stalls set their own prices. Special events or seasonal markets may change the usual layout.

Visitor notes

For 2026, the tourist office lists the fruit, vegetable and fish market Tuesday–Sunday, 06:00–13:30, and its Monday antiques market 07:00–18:00. The regular market schedule can change; confirm the official event pages before making an early trip. Nearby cafés and restaurants have separate hours and costs.
