Coal Harbour Seawall

Use the marked waterfront lanes for a short Coal Harbour walk with marina and North Shore views.

What to expect

Coal Harbour is the downtown segment of Vancouver's Seaside Greenway, linking the convention centre and marina approaches with Stanley Park. The City marks a waterside lane for walking and jogging and an inside lane for cycling and inline skating. This is a manageable section of the larger coastline route, with views of Burrard Inlet, boats and the North Shore.

The public waterfront path is free. Boat trips, bike rentals, food, parking and nearby indoor attractions cost extra.

Visitor notes

Stay in the signed lane for your activity; sunny weekends can be busy. The City posts construction notices for affected seawall segments, so check the route status before a longer walk or ride. The waterfront path is generally flat, but this note does not verify every spur, curb transition or nearby building entrance as step-free.
