What to expect

Chatuchak Park is a leafy public green space on Kamphaeng Phet 3 Road. Its flower clock, pond, lawns and large trees make it a useful pause before or after the neighbouring weekend market, but the park is a separate place from the market itself. The city lists walking, jogging, toilets and parking; it also states that cycling and pets are not allowed in this park.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration lists free admission to the park. Shopping and food at nearby markets, transport, events and paid services are separate.

Visitor notes

The BMA lists daily opening 04:30–22:00. The park is next to a major weekend-market area, so expect more foot traffic nearby on Saturdays and Sundays. The official park rules prohibit cycling, smoking, alcohol and pets; follow signs and staff instructions.
