A waterfront route of piers, lawns and skyline views beneath the Brooklyn Bridge.

What to expect

Walk the piers at your own pace, pause for the Manhattan panorama and follow the shoreline through a former industrial waterfront. It is an easy way to make the river part of the day rather than just the view from a bridge.

Entry and costs

The park is free to enter. Some facilities, seasonal activities, food and separately operated attractions can cost extra.

Visitor notes

The park is open daily 06:00–01:00, but individual piers, restrooms and playgrounds close earlier. In winter, Pier 2 closes at 21:00 and restrooms at 22:00; the operator currently lists work at the seasonal rink through 13 November and maintenance at Fulton Ferry Landing.
