Barranco Municipal Park
Take a break in Barranco's historic civic park, then continue to the Chabuca Granda passage and nearby old quarter.
What to expect
Barranco's Parque Municipal is a neighbourhood gathering place with a bandstand and historic sculptures. The district municipality dates its inauguration to 13 February 1898 and describes a later redesign that added the pergola and sculptures. The square sits at Avenida San Martín and Pedro de Osma; Peru Travel lists public entry as free and notes that it hosts community events and music. It works well as a starting point for the nearby Bridge of Sighs and Barranco's cultural streets.
