Bandra Fort and Bandstand
Climb through the old stone fort entrance, then follow the sea-facing Bandstand walk for Mahim Bay and Sea Link views.
What to expect
Bandra Fort, also known as Castella de Aguada, was built by the Portuguese around 1640 as a harbour watchtower. The fort sits at Land’s End beside the Bandstand promenade, where the shoreline opens toward Mahim Bay and the Bandra–Worli Sea Link. The Ministry of Tourism describes the fort’s watchtower role and Staircase Park; this is an outdoor visit, not a ticket to a museum or a guided fort interior.
