What to expect

Auckland Art Gallery's four floors trace art from Aotearoa New Zealand, Māori and Pacific communities, housed in one of the city's landmark buildings. General collection galleries are free, so this is a solid indoor stop on a wet afternoon; special exhibitions and events may be ticketed. Albert Park is just across Kitchener Street if you want to continue outside.
