What to expect
The Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is a public walking lane in the Saga-Arashiyama district, near other well-known stops including Togetsukyo Bridge. The bamboo corridor is brief and narrow, so it works best as one part of a wider neighbourhood walk rather than a standalone long hike. Temples, gardens, transport and food nearby have their own prices and hours.
