Amager Strandpark

What to expect

Amager Strandpark combines a lagoon, an offshore beach island and five service stations. You can make a short promenade walk or follow a longer beach-and-dune route; the horizon opens toward Øresund and Sweden. The city documents concrete paths between the beach stations and accessible toilets there. At Helgoland, a bathing path with a handrail and a lifeguard-operated beach lift help some visitors reach the water; loose sand remains difficult for many wheels.
